Cushions are different from fixed upholstery because they’re handled, flipped, and compressed every day. That movement pushes dust, allergens, and pet dander deeper into the fabric and into seams and piping. Cleaning cushions separately allows us to treat every surface—front, back, sides, and zipper areas—so the results look more even and feel noticeably fresher.
Off-site cushion cleaning is especially helpful for seat and back cushions, throw pillows, and decorative pillows that hold odors, stains, and dust mites. Instead of “cleaning around” the furniture frame, we can pre-treat stains precisely, use deep extraction with specialized tools, and control moisture so inserts keep their shape. We use eco-friendly, pet-safe solutions designed to lift soils without harsh residue.

Our specialized cushion cleaning process
We start with a careful inspection of the cover and insert, checking fiber type, wear, staining, and the condition of seams and zippers. We’ll note any pre-existing damage and confirm the safest method, then apply targeted pre-treatment to spots and high-contact areas before deep cleaning and extraction. After cleaning, cushions are positioned properly to protect their structure and help maintain loft.
Next comes climate-controlled drying with airflow designed to reduce shrinkage risk and help prevent color bleeding—followed by finishing touches and a quality inspection before return. Pick-up & delivery is available, and turnaround is typically 3–7 business days depending on quantity and fabric. Pricing is generally per cushion and based on size/material (with many jobs starting around the $25 range shown below). Single cushions are often accepted—if you’re unsure, we’ll guide you after a quick photo/text estimate.
